Phil made a small raise to 300 with blinds still 50-100. The National Finals Rodeo is in town this week. But, it just wasn't Boyd's day. I'm not even facing the free pocker table when the flop comes Q-3-3 and my neighbor nudges me and looks at the flop as if to ask if I had mucked a three.
That is, I do not think a player is out of line by jumping up and throwing his arms in the air when he wins a tournament and wants to celebrate his victory. With the ace-six, you have seven (count 'em, seven) main chances and three extra long-shot chances. A flopped straight! It was a dangerous board of 5-6-8 with two hearts. I. Also, having two overcards isn't necessarily required.
He can still be found on a daily basis playing in the highest-stakes games in the world -- winning and occasionally losing more money in a single pot than the average working person makes in a year's salary. You've lost the entire pot by betting, and this happens quite regularly when certain types of opponents collide. He's a perfect example of an amateur who scored big in this free pocker tournament.
The bug was back and this time it bit. I almost got up and registered. That's where I'd play partypocker hold'em and stud. Arlen says in a very low voice. Later, Justin told me he had queen-ten and he was happy to take a quick profit. Everybody else goes home empty-handed. I thought it odd that the man who was telling so many wonderful jokes and was making fun of himself would be met with such human indifference. Rook too.

The Flop
- It started with pocket 9's getting beat after the flop. I still like the system very much, and I have a goal of making it in the top 20 some day. Johnny made it 300 under the gun with the blinds 50-100. My personal life has also been turbulent as well.
Dream a Dream
I just hope that someday before I die - say, 10 or 20 years down the road - I will tune in and watch a poker tournament being televised without getting the Poker 101 lesson. It might as well be 3rd and 5, since the running back must make up five total yards to get the first down. If you still have any lingering aspirations of becoming a tournament professional -- think again. This was my most exciting day in poker, winning $5300. Every time you sit down at the felt, and every time a musician takes the stage, your performance defines you and where you are in relationship to that dream.
